Week 4 EOC: Evaluate the Experience
Overall it was a pretty good experience. At first I thought it was going to be this big challenging project but then as I started to do it I realized it wasn't as bad as I had initially thought. I started by going through my book to get an idea of what sort of questions I could make in the weird jeopardy format. Then I starting writing them up in a word doc since I don't have power point on this computer yet. Which actually proved to be better so I could go back for quick referencing. Then as I got further I had to come up with increasingly difficult question to go along with the jeopardy format which wasn't too bad. I finished all that, then polished it off with some creative titles and bam I was done. I wasn't really looking forward to playing the game in class and still wasn't the day of, but that eventually changed. We got split up into teams, and then I guess you could say the fun started. Here we were searching out answers from our memory, notes and books. We were even laughing during this. What laughter you say? Yup there were some funny moments, which actually helped to make the game a lot more fun. Then when I actually found a few of the answers it added even more to the positive experience. Then on top of that something I didn't think would happen, happened. No I'm not pessimistic, was just thinking realistically. But back to the point, we won. My team won. I didn't have a hand in personally finding the answer for that one but with my stickers (actually small yellow post-its) we were able to put up three each and since we had four in our group (the only team with that many) we could wager 12 in and. That 12 got us 36 points plus since we each had one extra sticker that means we got 37 extra points each for our midterm. Score!
